Backlins in Bing

I have 300 backlinks in Google according to Google Webmaster Tools, but only around 500 links in Bing according to Bing Webmaster Tools. How does Bing not see as many backlinks? How can I improve this?

According to me , backlinks for your site also would demands the same process , strategies and efforts as for website almost . one different thing you can do is to promote your blog on social nteworking and bookmarking sites like digg , stumble upon , facebook and many more for getting more and more traffic .
